Description
As a Maintenance Manager within the manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for the supervision of a team of maintenance engineers working on a continuous production line.
Some of the typical duties of a Maintenance Manager are to:
- Manage the workload of and assign tasks to staff in the maintenance team
- Plan and implement training and development plans for maintenance staff to ensure optimum operational performance
- Use root cause analysis techniques to quickly identify the cause of downtime issues and work with the team to resolve them
- Assist with capex projects when required and identify future site capex projects
- Identify potential cost savings and drive cost efficiency programmes within the manufacturing and maintenance departments
