Description
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing your allocated key customer accounts to maximise client engagement. While your day to day activities may vary depending on the nature of the business you work in, some of the typical duties of an account manager are to:
- Act as the first point of contact for your clients
- Build and maintain relationships with your clients
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling services
- Ensure high standards of customer service at all times, taking responsibility for client retention
- Identify any risks, service issues or opportunities and escalate internally as appropriate
- Organise and lead regular meetings with your clients
- Manage the sales funnel, from opportunity identification to closure
- Contribute to quote preparation, with a focus on profitability
