Description
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, it will be your responsibility to provide legal advice on all areas of clinical negligence, either on the claimant or defendant side.
While duties may vary depending on the specific nature of each case, the typical responsibilities of a Clinical Negligence Solicitor are to:
- Manage a caseload of medical negligence work
- Assess and advise on the prospects of success on a range of clinical negligence claims
- Draft pleadings, witness statements and letters of response
- Conduct face-to-face negotiations and mediation of claims
- Prepare counter schedules
- Act as first and primary contact for clients on a day-to-day basis
