Description
As a Regional Sales Manager, it will be your responsibility to lead the sales team and develop new business in your region. Your key responsibilities may vary depending on the specific nature of the organisation and the sectors you operate in, however, some of the typical duties of a Regional Sales Manager may be to:
- Work with the Sales Director to develop a regional sales plan
- Assist Sales Executives to help build and maintain rapport with key customers and identify new business opportunities
- Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Identify new product opportunities; products, packaging and service changes by surveying consumer needs and trends and tracking competitors
- Provide regular sales figures and reports to the Sales Director
