Kalcrest Donates Baby Grand Piano To Music School

Construction Engineering Recruitment firm Kalcrest has kindly donated a baby grand piano to lifelong learning provider Red Tape Central based in Sheffield.

Piano Kalcrest, who specialise in recruitment for the construction and engineering industry, discovered that Red Tape Central were in need of a piano to complete their musical equipment collection, and were happy to donate one!

Upon receiving the piano, Tom Henthorn, Music Resource Technician from Red Tape Central commented “I can’t tell you how excited we all are at Red Tape. We’re really pleased with the condition it’s in, especially that the action on every key is mechanically sound, and that it arrived surprisingly well in-tune, despite the move. We will have it tuned once it has settled into its new environment.

Quite apart from being an extremely smart piece of furniture, the sound is very clear, especially in the mid- and high-registers. Most importantly, our tutors are really pleased that our students will have such a nice instrument to practice playing and recording”.
