Christmas with Kalcrest!

Here at Kalcrest HQ there are some mixed feelings about Christmas. Although most of us love it, there is the odd one of two that prefers the term ‘bah humbug’ to ‘Merry Christmas’!

Despite this we have our yearly ritual of putting up our christmas tree, swapping secret Santa gifts, and basically getting into the festive spirit.

It’s been a good year for us, and in our traditional Christmas style we would like to count down our most memorable and favourite moments of 2014.

10. We have the best mascots in the world – obviously.

9. Over the past 2 years we have increased our sales by a massive 60%!
8. We have gained and maintained 18 supplier agreements with prestigious clients, and are due to sign another eight in the New Year!
7. We have welcomed four new members to the team - and we kind of love them!!

6. We’ve had not one, not two, but three Kalcrest weddings. Love is in the air!

5. We are the proud sponsors of a championship football club – Rotherham United!

4. As well as one ball hockey team – The Steelers – and one semi-professional football team – AFC Emley. These two are very closely linked to the Kalcrest family - our very own Joe plays for The Steelers, and our lovely boss is the biggest supporter of AFC Emley ever!

3. We also sponsor 14 local under 16 football teams! Just doing our bit for the community!

2. We have supplied over 10,400 workers to the construction sector and counting!
1. This equates to a staggering 416,000 man-hours (approx.) on site. This is the same as 47 ½ years, 17,333 days or 24,959,520 minutes! That’s a lot of work!!
